BackWoods-Monticello has been a part of this community for years, right on South Warren Street where folks can swing in on their way to work, after school, or just because they need something nice. We started as a small bakery with a big oven and a lot of hope — and somewhere along the way, we became the place people come for everything from Sunday brunch bread to Tuesday-night dinner ingredients.
We keep things simple: fresh baked goods every morning, a well-stocked grocery section for the everyday stuff, and a counter where someone actually knows your name. No fancy frills — just good food, fair prices, and a friendly wave when you walk through the door.
